Forest City Beer Fest is Downtown London, Ontario's annual celebration of craft beer! Back again for the 5th year.

The event takes place from 3:00 - 11:00 pm on Saturday, August 13th at Covent Garden Market (130 King St.). We have expanded to include Budwesier Gardens as well :D

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the event really free?

Yes.  Really. There is no cover charge to enter. Save all your money for beer and food! Space is limited, so arrive early.

Will there be a lineup?

Yes. There is usually a lineup at the start of the event and other peak times but the wait is short if you have your ID ready. If the grounds are at full capacity you will need to wait until some patrons leave before you get let in. Entry is on a first-come first-served basis.

Is there a way to skip the lineup?
Yes. For the first time we are selling a very small number of 'Flight Passes' that will let you skip the lineup. Your Flight Pass includes a souvenir beer glass and two drink/food tickets to start you off. Flight Pass cost $20 and can be purchased here

Do you need volunteers?

Where is the event located?

Our site is Covent Garden Market, Talbot St. and Jubilee Square. The entire site is unified into one licensed area.

How much are drink tickets?

$2.50 each

How much beer do I get for each ticket?
It depends how thirsty you are. You can trade beer tickets for samples or try a full beer too:

One ticket - 4 oz (Sample Size)

Two or more tickets - 12 oz (Full Beer)

Note: some brewers may charge more than 2 tickets for a full measure of certain premium brands. 

Can I bring my kids?

Yes. Families are welcome. Bring your stroller! Young children can attend as long as they are accompanied by their parents at all times. 

Are there any FCBF beer events inside the Market?

No. It is a regular day at the Market for all vendors, including the outdoor Farmer's Market in the morning & afternoon (8:00 am - 1:00 pm). All of the Forest City Beer Fest events are outdoors & open-air.
